Megan Neuvirth added 12 points, nine rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals as the Bluejays moved to 3-1 on the season and dropped the Wildcats to 1-3.
Creighton scored the first six points of the game on back-to-back three-point baskets by Chevelle Herring and Woodard, forcing Kansas State head coach Deb Patterson to call a timeout. The break in action worked for the Wildcats, as they answered with the next seven points to take a 7-6 lead just over three minutes into the game. Creighton would respond with an 11-0 run to take control of the game and own a 32-20 lead at the break.
