Sammy Jensen and Taylor Johnson Announce End of Playing Careers

OMAHA, Neb. - Seniors Sammy Jensen and Taylor Johnson both announced they end of their playing careers due to knee injuries on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
After suffering an ACL tear earlier this season, Jensen played against Georgetown and Xavier with a brace. Unfortunarely she suffered another injury to the same knee in practice prior to the Butler game on Jan. 4.
Johnson, meanwhile, discovered a cyst in her left knee early this week that will require surgery. After returning to the court this season following ACL tears in each of the past two seasons, she felt it was time to step away from court.
