The Jays opened the match with three victories in doubles. Senior Jennie Hartjes and freshman Darby Rosette won 8-6 at the top spot. Senior Liz Vermillion and junior Sam Anderson edged the Mavs duo at No. 2 doubles 8-7. On court three, senior Amanda Noonan and sophomore Katherine Nelsen won handily at 8-3.
Noonan posted a double-bagel victory on court four to give the Jays another point. Freshman Natalie Miller dropped just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 5 singles. Junior Sam Anderson won 6-3, 6-4 on court six to clinch the team match point for the Bluejays.
Nelsen came back to win from a set down at No. 2 singles to earn Creighton's final victory of the day. Nelsen dropped the first set 6-4 but won the second stanza in convincing fashion at 6-1 before winning the third-set superbreaker at 10-7.
