CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.  -- Creighton University's Grace Yowell, Kelsey Petersen, Sarah Eversman and Mary Cathryn Rau are among 758 collegiate golfers recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association as All-American Scholars.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50. The 2014-2015 WGCA All-American Scholar Teams can be found at https://higherlogicdownload.s3.amazonaws.com/WGCAGOLF/725a3b50-3e66-4afb-8c30-9174b6c325fc/UploadedFiles/WGCA_AllScholar_Release_1415.pdf.
Rau was a senior at Creighton last year, Yowell a junior, Petersen a sophomore and Eversman a freshman. Rau and Petersen were both honored last year, as well.
Creighton's four honorees were tied for the most in the BIG EAST with Xavier. Five of the league schools had zero or one person recognized.
The Bluejays, who placed sixth at the BIG EAST Championships in April, are coached by Debbie Conry.
