Series History:
Creighton leads series, 9-6-1
Creighton and Drake renew a rivalry that began in 2003 when both squads were
members of the Missouri Valley Conference. After the Bluejays joined the BIG EAST in 2013 the two teams renewed the series last season. Creighton took the first non-conference matchup at Morrison Stadium on Sept. 7 by a 4-3 score. Tuesday will be the Bluejays first trip to Cownie Soccer Complex as a non-conference opponent.
Marquette leads series, 3-2-1
The BIG EAST Conference schedule kicks off this Sunday as the Bluejays battle Marquette in Milwaukee. The Golden Eagles have claimed the last three meetings between the two squads, including both meetings as conference foes. In a scheduling quirk Creighton returns to Marquette this season after facing the Golden Eagles in Milwaukee last year as well. The Bluejays dropped the matchup last season, 7-2.

Scouting Creighton (7-3-0)
Entering the season without a definite starter in the net, freshman Erin Scott grabbed the torch and has no intention of giving it up. Scott has delivered six clean sheets in 10 matches, allowing just one goal in seven matches in Morrison Stadium.
While Scott gets the statistical credit, head coach Ross Paule will quickly point out the efforts of Ylenia Sachau, McKynzie Dickman, Jill Richgels and Emma Braasch along the back line. Last weekend against Northern Colorado and Colorado State the Bluejays' defense limited their neighbors to the west to a combined 13 shots.
Offensively Creighton got a needed shot in the arm from its forwards. Junior Lauren Sullivan posted her first multi-goal match of the season in the win over Northern Colorado, while senior Alyssa Jara and freshman Kaira Houser each punched in a goal against Colorado State.
Scouting Drake (3-6-0)
The Bulldogs opened the season with two wins in the first three matches, but have won just once since. Drake's lone victory in the last three weeks came at Saint Louis, 4-3, on Sept. 13.
Drake has split time in goal this season with Haley Morris getting the call in the last two matches. Brooke Dennis, however, has appeared in seven matches and leads the team with 601:16 minutes.
Offensively the Bulldogs are led by four goals from Alyssa Brand. Just a step back Rebecca Rodgers has three goals and an assist for seven points.
Scouting Marquette (3-4-2)
While the Golden Eagles may not have the resume they are used to, Marquette remains one of the toughest tests that Creighton has faced yet in 2015.
Marquette enters the week with just one win in its last five matches. The Golden Eagles have allowed 10 goals during that stretch, but have two ties.
Senior goalkeeper Amanda Engel has played all but 34 minutes in net, allowing 13 goals (a 1.42 Goals Against Average - GAA)
The Golden Eagles two most prolific scorers are Molly Pfeiffer (three goals and one assist) and Liz Bartels (one goal and three assists). Each boasts one game-winning goal on the season.
