Starting seven matches over her junior campaign, Kaira made an appearance in all 18 contests ... She collected three goals, including the game-winning strike in the 89th minute against Villanova on Oct. 15 ... Her two other tallies came in a 2-2 draw at UMKC (Sept. 8) and a 3-1 win over Nebraska-Omaha
(Sept. 16).
2016 (Sophomore):
Houser appeared in 17 matches, including four starts ... She collected two goals and four assists, highlighted by a career-high three points on a goal and an assist in the Bluejays’ 2-0 win over St. John’s on Oct. 9 ... Kaira’s goal against the Red Storm gave Creighton a 1-0 edge and proved to be the game-winner ... Her first goal of the season came on Aug. 26 in Creighton’s 4-0 win at Nebraska-Omaha (Aug. 26).

The daughter of Shane and Matilde Houser, Kaira was born in Emporia, Kansas ... She has two siblings; Samantha and Matthew ... Kaira spent the spring of her junior year (2018) studying abroad and playing soccer in Ecuador ... She speaks fluent Spanish and is working to become trilingual as she is learning German ... Houser is an international business major.
