Single-Game Basketball Tickets Go On Sale Monday; Longwood Game Moved to Dec. 9

Grab single-game tickets for a highly-anticipated season
OMAHA, Neb. -- Single-game tickets for all 2016-17 Creighton men's and women's basketball exhibition and regular season home games will go on sale on Monday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.
Fans can purchase tickets to any game by stopping by the CenturyLink Center Omaha Box Office (men's only), the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center Ticket Office on Creighton's campus or any Ticketmaster outlet (Bakers, Younkers).
Fans can also purchase tickets in advance, by charging by phone via Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or charging online at Ticketmaster.com.
Also worth noting before fans head to the ticket window is that the Creighton men's basketball home game vs Longwood, originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1:30 pm, has been moved to Friday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 pm and will be televised by FS1.
Head coach Greg McDermott's Bluejays will open the season on Friday, Nov. 4 with an exhibition game against Wayne State on First National Bank Court at CenturyLink Center Omaha (7:00 p.m., tip-off). All remaining season tickets will be available for purchase with unsold seats tagged. All remaining season tickets are upper bowl. If questions, contact the Creighton Ticket Office. The regular-season begins one week later with an 8:00 p.m. home game vs. UMKC on Nov. 11.Â
Head coach Jim Flanery's Bluejays will open the season on Thursday, Nov. 3 with an exhibition game against Fort Hays State at D.J. Sokol Arena inside the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center (7:00 p.m., tip-off). The first regular-season home game for the Creighton women's basketball team will be on Thursday, Nov. 17, when the Bluejays host Drake at 7:00 p.m.
In other news, the 2016-17 Greg McDermott Assist Club Luncheons will be held at Anthony's Restaurant & Lounge (72nd & F Streets) and the first one is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 4. Other luncheon dates are Friday, Dec. 2; Friday, Jan. 13; Friday, Feb. 3 and Friday, Feb. 24. All of the luncheons start at noon and a season pass is $116 per person. Highlights of each steak luncheon will include insight on the team, newsletters with updated statistics, BIG EAST Conference news and numerous door prizes courtesy of Anthony's, Nike and Creighton Basketball. To register and purchase your five-lunch season pass online, go to www.gocreighton.com/athleticevents.
