The Bluejays were just 1-for-11 in the first three quarters of play at South Dakota State on Friday and were 1-of-7 in the opening 20 minutes against the Shockers. Just as the Bluejays did against the Jackrabbits, Creighton mounted a furious rally in the final 10 minutes. The Bluejays closed the gap to as little as eight in the closing moments (59-51), but were unable to get over the hump.
Rollerson was the lone Bluejay to finish the game in double figures, while Wichita State got 17 points from Rangie Bessard and 11 each from Keki Thompson as well as Angiee Tompkins.
