Nebraska leads the overall series 30-11, including victories including 10 of the last 11 meetings. Creighton's last victory came in 2012 as the Bluejays handed Nebraska a 66-57 defeat in Omaha.
While the Huskers have claimed the lion's share of the meetings, the Bluejays have made the games more than tough. Creighton fell by three points in the last meeting at D.J. Sokol Arena in 2014 (60-57) and were nipped by two (65-63) last season in Lincoln
Scouting Nebraska (4-6)
Keys to the Game w/Nebraska
Freshman Jaylyn Agnew delivered a statement game against Northern Iowa on Dec. 10 as the freshman led the Bluejays in points (16) and rebounds (9). The Kansas native was 4-for-6 from long range and had a look at a game-winning shot in the closing seconds that went just long.
Home is Where the Bluejays' Touch Has Been
While most teams tend to shoot a bit better at home, the Bluejays splits this season have been shocking. In three games (all victories) at D.J. Sokol Arena, Creighton is shooting 45.8% from the field and 43.0% from beyond the arc. In their five contests away from home the Bluejays are 34.5% from the field and 27.2% from long range.

More than a City Block
While the offense had its struggles in Cedar Falls last Saturday, Creighton's defense was a force as the Bluejays blocked 10 shots for the first time since 2011. Kylie Brown and Audrey Faber led the way with three blocks each, while Brianna Rollerson and Bailey Norby notched two as well. The last time Creighton reached double-digits in blocks was on Feb. 27, 2011 as the Bluejays
swatted 12 shots against Missouri State.
Bench Mob Adds Another, Greene Sidelined by Knee Surgery

Bird Seeds
- The Huskers have won the last three meetings, including a 60-57 contest in Omaha in 2014.
- Creighton is 3-0 at home this season, averaging 77.0 ppg and shooting 45.8%. Away from home those numbers are 55.6 ppg and 34.5% from the field.
- Freshman Jaylyn Agnew delivered a breakout game at Northern Iowa, setting
- career-highs in points (16), rebounds (9), FG (6), FGA (10), 3FG (4), 3FGA (6) and minutes (26).
- This will be the first meeting between the Huskers and Bluejays since Amy Williams took over for Nebraska at the beginning of the season. During her time as the head coach of South Dakota, Williams was 2-2 against the Bluejays. Williams claimed both meetings with Creighton in the WNIT, yet dropped both regular season matchups.
- Both the Bluejays and the Huskers should be well rested as Nebraska's last game was on Dec. 9, while Creighton's last contest was Dec. 10.
- The two squads have three common opponents this season as Nebraska went 1-2against Missouri (L, 35-55), Nebraska-Omaha (W, 66-58) and Drake (L, 70-84). The Bluejays also dropped a battle with Missouri (L, 63-72), yet Creighton bested the Mavericks (W, 82-45) and Bulldogs (W, 80-77).
Nebraska leads the overall series 30-11, including victories including 10 of the last 11 meetings. Creighton's last victory came in 2012 as the Bluejays handed Nebraska a 66-57 defeat in Omaha.

Scouting Nebraska (4-6)
- While the Huskers may not be off to the start everyone hoped for sophomore Jessica Shepard's numbers remain staggering. She is averaging 19.1 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. Over her last two games the Fremont native has 51 points and 30 rebounds (25.5 ppg & 15 rpg).
- Similar to the Bluejays, the Huskers have struggled shooting the ball this season. Nebraska is just 54.1% from the free throw line, despite getting to the charity stripe 170 times (an average of 17 per game).
- The Huskers are a relatively deep squad as 11 different players average 10 minutes or more per game.
Keys to the Game w/Nebraska
- Slow Down Shepard: The Bluejays did an excellent job last season frustrating Shepard. She was just 6-of-18 from the field, despite scoring 18. Â
- Start Fast: Coming off the shooting
- struggles at Northern Iowa, the Bluejays want to find their shooting touch quickly against the Huskers.
- Crash the Offensive Glass: Nebraska has allowed over 12 offensive rebounds per game.
