Women's Tennis Looks to Extend Win Streak, Hosts Coe College on Saturday

OMAHA, Neb. — Creighton Women's Tennis will look to earn its third-consecutive win on Saturday as the Bluejays host Coe College. Saturday's matchup will begin at 1:45 p.m., inside the Hanscom Tennis Center in Omaha.
GETTING UP TO SPEED
The Bluejays (2-3) extended their win streak to two matches with a come-from-behind win over Omaha last Wednesday.
Creighton controlled singles play versus Omaha, erasing a 2-0 match deficit to earn a 5-2 victory.
Five Bluejay players found the win column in singles play: Ashley Ishimura, Darby Rosette, Claire Embree, Sam Anderson, and Karlin Naslund.
Anderson and Embree went unbeaten on the day, teaming up to win at No. 2 Doubles.
Following her stellar showing versus Omaha, Anderson was named BIG EAST Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Anderson, Ishimura, and Rosette have each recorded a team-best three singles wins this spring.
