Women's Hoops to Face No. 3 Marquette Monday, with the Winner Advancing to the BIG EAST Final

Milwaukee, Wis. -- Looking to reach consecutive conference championship games for the first time, the second-seeded Creighton women's basketball team will battle BIG EAST Tournament Host and third-seeded Marquette at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 6.

The Bluejays have taken the last three meetings with Marquette, but in the last battle the contest came down to the final minute. Down 77-72 with under one minute to play, junior Sydney Lamberty delivered the final eight points of the contest to lift Creighton to an 80-77 win.
