Men's Soccer Announces Addition Of Four Players

Younes Boudadi, Daniel Espeleta, Paul Kruse and Duncan Werling have each started working out with the Bluejays
OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton men's soccer head coach Elmar Bolowich announced the addition of four players on Monday, Jan. 15. All four players will join the program for the spring season, and each will be eligible for the 2018 fall schedule.
Younes Boudadi (Boston College transfer, Belgium native), Daniel Espeleta (Costa Rica), Paul Kruse (Germany) and Duncan Werling (UCLA transfer, Minnesota native) each started classes and workouts at Creighton during the past week.
The Bluejays will host three spring matches. Creighton will play Denver on April 7 at 1 p.m., Hastings College on April 14 at 7:30 p.m., and Northern Illinois on April 21 at 1 p.m. All three matches will be played on the pitch at Morrison Stadium. The match on April 14 is also part of Omaha's annual Kicks For A Cure fundraiser.
Additionally, Creighton will play in Kansas City against the Swope Park Rangers on Feb. 24 (3:30 p.m.). The Bluejays are also working to schedule one other road contest to complete the spring schedule.

Younes Boudadi, Junior, Defender, Ypres, Belgium
-Transfer from Boston College
-Led Boston College with eight assists during the 2017 season
-Started all 19 matches as a freshman and helped guide the Golden Eagles defense to seven shutouts during the 2016 season
-Played at the club level for Club Brugge
-Made six appearances during the 2013 U-17 African Cup for Morocco
-Also played in four matches in the 2014 U-17 World Championships
-Member of U-20 Moroccan National Team, and capped for the team against Togo in 2014
Daniel Espeleta, Freshman, Midfielder, San Jose, Costa Rica
-Most recently played for Uruguay FC (Costa Rica) in the Adult League
-Took part in U-17 Costa Rica National Team camp in 2014 (30-player camp)
-Played at four different levels for Deportivo Saprissa (U-14, U-15, U-17, U-20) and helped guide squad to pair of national championships
-Played two years for the Pacific Northwest Soccer Club (Seattle) at the U-18 level
-Spent 2013 on the U-15 team of the Seattle Sounders FC Academy
-Two-time King County Conference All-Star Selection while playing for Mercer Island High School (Washington)
-Selected to the Olympic Development Program in the state of Washington in 2014
Paul Kruse, Freshman, Goalkeeper, Heilbronn, Germany
-Played for Club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim Academy
-Part of three season-champion teams (U-12, U-14, U-15)
-Also guided squad to 2016 U-19 German National Championship
-Participated in first international match for the U-16 German National Team against Belgium (2013)
-Part of German U-18 National Pool
Duncan Werling, Freshman, Goalkeeper, Minneapolis, Minn.
-Transfer from UCLA
-Redshirted during 2016 season at UCLA
-Started at goalkeeper for the Minnesota Thunder Academy U-18 and U-16 teams
-Part of back-to-back Minnesota State Cup championship team
-Member of the U.S. Olympic Development program from 2010-12
-Team captain of the Minnesota State Team in 2012
