Happy Memories in Indy
The last time the Bluejays came to Indianapolis was at the close of the 2016-17 season (Feb. 26, 2017). Following a victory over Butler (65-53), Creighton found a quiet spot to celebrate their BIG EAST championship as the Jays popped sparkling cider and earned a victory dance from Flan.
Two Best at The Stripe in the BIG EAST
If the matchup between Creighton and Butler comes down to free throws, it could be a long contest. Butler enters Friday's game 7th in the NCAA and leading the BIG EAST at 78.1%. Creighton, meanwhile, is second in the
conference and 17th in the NCAA at 77.1.

Keys Against Butler
- Combat Schickel in the Post: In four games against Creighton, Schickel is averaging a double-double with 40 points and 42 rebounds (10.0 ppg and 10.5 rpg). The trio of Norby, Brown and Green must make her work down low.
- Rebound: In the victory over Providence the Bluejays attacked the glass with a sense of urgency. Creighton must do that throughout the season.
- Take the Trey Away from Jennings and Spolyar: The tandem of Spolyar and Jannings are Butler's only significant outside threats. The duo have combined for 77 of the Bulldogs' 99 three-pointers this season.
- When rebounds are even or in the Bluejays' favor, Creighton is 9-0.
- When the turnover battle is even or in the Bluejays' favor, Creighton is 8-2.
- Creighton is 7-1 when leading at the half.
