Keys Against Seton Hall
Bluejays Respond to Single Bucket Frame With Win for Second Straight Year
Though not quite a program record, Creighton's three point quarter against St. John's on Friday did not prevent the Bluejays from posting a 53-39 win over the Red Storm.
Last season Creighton set its low mark with just two points in the opening period against Villanova (Feb. 3). However, the Bluejays rallied to earn the win, 47-44.
Breakout Game for Ali Greene
Sophomore Ali Greene reached double figures for the first time in her career with 14 points in the win over St. John's on Jan. 26. Greene's previous career-high was seven points, a number she reached twice, last against South Dakota State in 2016. Versus the Red Storm she finished 6-of-9 from the field and grabbed six rebounds.
Last Time Bluejays Held an Opponent Under 40 was Memorable Game in 2012
Limiting the Red Storm to just 39 points marked the first time since 2012 that the Bluejay defense held an opponent to that few points.
The last time Creighton held an opponent to under 40 points was in the Missouri Valley Conference title game on March 11, 2012 as Creighton defeated Drake 53-38. That win gave head coach Jim Flanery his first trip to the NCAA Tournament where the Bluejays drew St. John's in the opening round.
The last time Creighton was held under 40 also involved the Red Storm as St. John's downed the Bluejays 61-38 on Jan. 11, 2015.

Keys Against Seton Hall
- Take Care of the Ball: Seton Hall is going to try to force turnovers to jump start its offense. The Bluejays are most successful, when staying under their average of 12 turnovers per game.
- Slow Down Jackson: With Fountain out of the lineup Jackson scored 14 in the win over St. John's and 22 at Providence. The Bluejays need to force another Pirate to score.
- Get Faber and Agnew Rolling Early: Both Agnew and Faber struggled against St. John's. The Bluejays offense is much more difficult to defend if one or both of Creighton's big weapons get going early.
