Flanery Needs Just One More Road Win For a Complete BIG EAST Set
In just the Bluejays' fifth season as members of the BIG EAST, head coach Jim Flanery has posted road wins in eight of the nine opposing arenas. The lone remaining obstacle is McGrath-Phillips Arena against DePaul.
Flanery does have three victories in McGrath-Phillips, taking his squad to the BIG EAST Tournament Final in that gym at the end of the 2015-16 season, but he has yet to lead the Bluejays to a win over DePaul in that locale.

Keys Against DePaul
- Transition Defense: The Blue Demons love to push the ball, ranking third in the country in assists. Slowing down the fast break offense could be key in coming out with a win.
- Guard the Perimeter: The Blue Demons had seven different scorers make a trey, combining to shoot 53.8% from behind the arc in the first meeting. Contesting shots will be critical for the Bluejays.
- Create Easy Looks: The Bluejays only shot 36.7% in the first meeting between the two. Creighton's starters shot just 15-39 in the game. Look for Agnew and Lamberty to continue their recent form.
