OMAHA, Neb. -- Jaali Winters had 13 kills on .545 hitting and the No. 10 Creighton Volleyball team won its 10th straight match with a 3-0 sweep of Butler that took just 68 minutes to complete on Saturday afternoon. The Bluejays never trailed in the match, and the only tie scores came at 3-3 and 4-4 in the opening set.
Scores of the match were 25-11, 25-15, 25-8 in favor of the Bluejays, who improved to 18-4 (10-0 BIG EAST) in its final tune-up before Friday's showdown at No. 18 Marquette (18-4, 9-1 BIG EAST).
Creighton served a season-high 14 aces, including five from Madelyn Cole, as seven different Bluejays authored at least one service winner. The Bluejays hit .439 in the contest, the seventh-best mark in program history. The win was also the 100th for Creighton's senior class, which is now a perfect 35-0 at home at D.J. Sokol Arena against BIG EAST foes. CU had 36 kills, 29 digs, eight blocks and 14 aces.

CU took control of the second set by blitzing the Bulldogs to take a quick 11-4 advantage. BU did draw within 18-13 in the second set to prompt a Bluejay timeout, but CU responded with a 7-2 run to take a 2-0 lead into intermission after four straight attack errors from Butler ended the frame. The Bluejays hit .450 in the second set.
Consecutive aces by Cole started the third set in CU's most lopsided set win since an identical 25-8 win over Lipscomb in the second set on Sept. 11, 2015. The Bluejays hit .450 in the final set and added six aces and three blocks while also holding the Bulldogs to -.091 hitting in 22 swings.
