OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team is ranked in the top-10 of the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll for a 10th straight week, coming in at No. 9 for the third straight week.

This is the 15th time in program history that Creighton has made it into the top-10. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.

Creighton held steady after a pair of 3-0 sweeps last weekend over visiting Georgetown and Villanova.

Creighton (24-4, 16-0 BIG EAST) is 82-21 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll, including a 32-4 mark at home. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 49 all-time polls, and are one of 11 clubs to be ranked in each of the last 35 editions. The Bluejays have been in every poll since Oct. 31, 2016.

BYU remained in the top spot in the national rankings with 48 first-place votes. Stanford held steady at No. 2 and is followed in the top-five by Minnesota, Illinois and Texas.

Creighton improved two spots to a season-best No. 14 in the eighth official NCAA RPI of the season. Creighton owns four top-20 RPI wins, having defeated No. 8 Kentucky, No. 16 UNI and No. 18 Marquette (twice) this fall.

Creighton remained a season-best ninth in the VolleyMob.com poll.

The Bluejays close the regular-season on Friday and Saturday with a pair of 7 p.m. home matches against Providence.
