Athletic Department Honored For Work On Two Publications By CoSIDA

This year's haul brings total number of awards to 18 in the last 11 years
NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. -- Two Creighton University Athletics publications earned national recognition at the recently-completed College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Workshop held just outside Washington, D.C. in National Harbor, Md.
Creighton's volleyball game program was honored with second place in the Single Sport Programs - University category, with Assistant Director of Marketing-Multimedia & Design Chris Newhouse and Sports Information Director Rob Anderson contributing on the piece.
Creighton's men's basketball game program also was recognized for the third straight campaign, this time taking third place in the Single Sport Programs - University category. Anderson and Newhouse also contributed on that publication.
The 2018 awards haul gives the Creighton Sports Information Office 18 awards and honors in the last 11 years for its excellence in publications, writing and overall service to the media, including multiple awards in each of the last three years.
