OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team is ranked 10th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll for the fourth straight week.

This is the eighth time in program history that Creighton has made it into the top-10, and fourth week in a row. The No. 10 ranking matches a season-high. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.

The Jays didn't move in the rankings after improving to 4-0 in BIG EAST play following road wins at Butler and Xavier. Fellow BIG EAST rival Marquette checks in at No. 19 this week, the best ranking ever for the Golden Eagles.

Creighton (12-4, 4-0 BIG EAST) is 70-21 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 43 all-time polls, and are one of 13 clubs to be ranked in each of the last 29 editions. The Bluejays have been in every poll since Oct. 31, 2016.

BYU remained in the top spot in the national rankings with 60 first-place votes. Stanford held steady at No. 2 and is followed in the top-five by Nebraska, Texas and Minnesota.

Creighton also held their place at 11th in the VolleyMob.com poll, matching its best spot all fall in that poll.

The Bluejays return home this weekend to host Seton Hall on Friday at 7 p.m., followed by St. John's on Sunday at 1 p.m.
