2019 Creighton vs. Cancer Pink Out

BID NOW IN PINK OUT JERSEY AUCTION!

When Creighton faces Butler on January 25th (7:30 p.m. tipoff) - Bluejay players will wear pink shooting shirts and pink jerseys for the game and fans have the opportunity to honor a friend or family member who has battled cancer or is currently battling cancer by purchasing the apparel via auction (the shooting shirt can be personalized – last name, nickname, etc.).

The first 16,000 fans entering the venue on Friday, Jan. 25 will receive a complimentary pink t-shirt courtesy of CHI Health & Methodist Health System. "Pink Out" t-shirts are also available for purchase at the following Lawlor's Custom Sportswear locations: Westroads Mall and the Superstore located at 84th & J Streets. Complimentary "Pink Out" posters will be available to fans exiting the venue after the game on Friday, Jan. 25. This year's Creighton vs. Cancer jersey auction raised $19,595 pushing the eight-year total of amount raised to $205,970.68.

The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Nebraska provides a free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers who must travel to Omaha to receive their lifesaving treatment. More than just a roof over their heads, it's a nurturing community that helps patients access the care they need. Over the past six years, the annual Creighton University Men's Basketball Pink Out game has raised nearly $200,000 benefiting the Hope Lodge facility here in Omaha and the guests it serves.

Join 1620TheZone on Friday January 25th as they broadcast live from Hope Lodge Nebraska. GameTime with Nick Bahe and Unsportsmanlike Conduct will be on air and taking donations of toilet paper or money as we recognize the one-year anniversary of the facility. Come see the guys and drop off your donations between 11am and 5pm on January 25th. Hope Lodge Nebraska is located at 8030 Farnam Drive Just south of 80th and Dodge – Look for the Zone tent and the Zone Vehicles.
