Following Sunday's outcome the Bluejays are 7-4-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in BIG EAST play, while Marquette moved to 3-8-1 overall and 0-2-1 in conference action.
A trio of Bluejays put Creighton in front in the ninth minute of the game as seniors Ashleigh Cearlock and Taryn Jakubowski one touched passes to the left for sophomore Ansley Atkinson. The Minneapolis native crossed a shot from left to right for her first goal of the season.
