Creighton split the regular season series with the Blue Demons
Chicago, Ill. -- For the second time in just over one week the Creighton women's basketball team will battle DePaul. Also for the second time in a week, the Bluejays will do so following an upset win. Last week Creighton took down #13 Marquette on March 1, but were unable to hold an early lead against the Blue Demons on March 3.
This time Creighton is coming off a 60-51 win over the third seeded Butler Bulldogs, a team that downed Creighton by a combined 52 points in two regular season meetings. On Monday the Bluejays will have another opportunity to battle DePaul.
Fresh off one of the best regular-season wins in school history as the Bluejays knocked off #13 Marquette on Friday, the Creighton women's basketball team continues to fight for seeding positioning in the BIG EAST Tournament as Creighton faces DePaul on Sunday at 1:00 pm. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 2.

Greene Not Only Returns, But Adds a New Wrinkle
Ali Green was so enamored with the feeling of playing on senior night against DePaul on March 3, the Minnesota native made the decision to continue giving her squad whatever she can during the BIG EAST Tournament. On Sunday night, that included Green's first career three-point shot, knocking down a trey from the top of the key in the first quarter of Creighton's win over Butler.
