Rowing Takes Second Varsity Eight in Battle with Kansas

Lawrence, Kan. -- The Creighton Rowing team gave a tremendous effort on Friday, April 26th as the Bluejays posted a win in the second varsity eight, taking the race by more than 17 seconds.
The second eight woman boat finished ins 6:27.5, besting Kansas' boat by 17.5 seconds as the Jayhawks finished at 6:45.0
Creighton was under two seconds from claiming the dual race as the varsity eight boat finished in 6:09.85, while Kansas posted a final time of 6:07.9.
The Bluejays close out the 2019 spring season at the WCC Championships on May 18 in Sacramento, Calif.
