Rowing Places Sixth at WCC Championships

Sacramento, Calif. -- The Creighton Rowing team closed the 2019 season with a sixth place finish at the WCC Championships on Saturday, May 18th.

Highlighting the final race was the performance of the varsity eight and the varsity four. The Bluejays posted a time of 7:00.22 in the eight woman boat, less than 30 seconds behind the winning squad from Gonzaga. The overall best finish of the regatta came in the four woman boat as Creighton finished fifth with a time of 8:22.51.

Following the event Creighton's McKinley Wilson and Mary Stanley were named to the 2019 All-WCC Rowing Team.
