Keys To the Game
- Rebounding: Seton Hall is second in the BIG EAST in offensive rebounds, with 221 in 17 games (13.0 per game). The Bluejays have allowed 170 offensive rebounds to opponents, better than 10 per game. Creighton must limit second chance looks to defeat the Hall in New Jersey.
- Can the Bluejays Take Advantage of Openings: In BIG EAST play, Creighton senior Jaylyn Agnew is averaging 23.6 ppg and continues to draw the focus of every defense. While Seton Hall will certainly game plan to slow Agnew, other Bluejays must step up when given open looks.
- Ball Control and Pace: The Pirates have forced 346 turnovers this season and will pressure the basketball against the Bluejays. Creighton, meanwhile, is among the nation's leaders in fewest turnovers at 10.7 per game. Which team can control the pace of play and subsequently the level of turnovers will go a long way to deciding the outcome.
