Keys To the Game on Friday, Feb. 28th
- Limiting Siegrist or Gedaka: In the first meeting with duo were limited to a combined 28 points. The two Wildcats were 11-of-23, while the rest of the Villanova team went 4-for-27.
- Execution: Villanova and Creighton are two of the most similar teams in the BIG EAST. Both squads are low turnover teams, shoot the three. Not surprising the Bluejays and Wildcats are the only two teams to defeat BIG EAST champion DePaul.
- Contributions Down the line: Siegrist and Gedaka are consistent for Villanova. The same can be said for Agnew and at least one of the Bluejays' three guards (Carda, Elger and Rembao). The key to the game will be for the Wildcats to get Cameron Onken or someone else going. For the Bluejays its a matter of get contributions from a third and fourth option.
