Creighton sophomore guard Marcus Zegarowski has been diagnosed with a meniscus injury to his right knee
OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton sophomore guard Marcus Zegarowski has been diagnosed with a meniscus injury to his right knee.

He will continue to be evaluated in the days to come and is considered doubtful for Creighton's BIG EAST Tournament opener on Thursday.

Ranked seventh nationally, Creighton (24-7) earned the top seed in the BIG EAST Tournament with a 77-60 win on Saturday vs. Seton Hall and will play on Thursday in an 11 a.m. CST quarterfinal on FS1 against the winner of Wednesday night's game between St. John's and Georgetown.
