OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team remained 13th in the third edition of the official version of the RPI released by the NCAA, and fell to 24th in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.

Creighton held steady in the RPI and dropped five spots in the AVCA poll following a 1-1 road trip to UConn (L 3-2) and Providence (W 3-0).

The Bluejays are 18-3 overall this year, tied for second nationally in victories with Louisville, BYU and Western Kentucky. Only Delaware State (19-1) has more wins.

The Bluejays, which had been No.19 in the AVCA poll the previous two weeks, have now been ranked in each of the last seven weeks and 84 times overall, a figure that ranks 48th-most in history. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017. Creighton is 132-34 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll, including a 59-9 mark in home matches. This is the 10th straight season that Creighton has spent at least one week in the top-25, extending another program record.

Marquette is still just outside the AVCA's top-25 this week, ranking first among those "also receiving votes". The Golden Eagles are 16-3 overall and atop the BIG EAST standings with a 7-1 record, with the lone loss coming to Creighton, and own an RPI of 19.

Creighton hosts Georgetown on Friday at 6:30 p.m.as part of its annual Pink Out, then welcomes Villanova to D.J. Sokol Arena on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches will air on FloSports.
