Bluejay Women's Hoops Opens Home Schedule Against Omaha

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton women's basketball team looks to claim its home city as the Bluejays' take on the Omaha Mavericks on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1:00 pm.

Bluejays In Openers
The Bluejays are 20-28 in season openers entering the game at Drake. Creighton is 12-36 in road opening contests. Under head coach Jim Flanery Creighton is 8-12 in the first game of the season, including 3-9 if the Bluejays open on the road.
Series with Omaha: Series Tied 15-15
Creighton and Omaha renewed an old rivalry in 2014. The Mavericks won 15 of the first 16 battles, but Creighton has taken the last 14 matchups.
