Creighton Baseball Announces 2022 Schedule

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Baseball head coach Ed Servais and the Bluejay program announced its 2022 schedule on Tuesday, December 7.
The 2022 schedule features 27 home games at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha (TDAPO), including a pair of games with 2021 CWS participant Arizona. Creighton also hosts Minnesota, St. Thomas, The Citadel, North Carolina A&T, Omaha, South Dakota State and Nebraska in non-conference contests. The BIG EAST slate of games will bring Georgetown, Seton Hall and Butler to Omaha.
Creighton opens the 2022 season with road series at Portland (Feb. 18-20) and at Loyola Marymount (Feb. 25-27). The home schedule begins on March 4 as CU begins a three-game series with St. Thomas (March 4-6). The Bluejays face local rival Omaha at the Mavericks home field (Tal Anderson Stadium) on March 8, then battle South Dakota State at TDAPO on March 9.
Creighton remains at home on Saturday, March 12 as the Bluejays host North Carolina A&T and Omaha in a split doubleheader, then face North Carolina A&T once more on Sunday, March 13. Creighton's series with Minnesota is scheduled for March 18-20 at TDAPO. The month of March concludes with a road series at Wichita State (March 25-27), followed by single home games against Nebraska (March 29) and South Dakota State (March 30).
The start of April brings The Citadel (April 1-3) to Nebraska. While a midweek road game at Kansas State on April 5, precedes the start of BIG EAST play as the Bluejays host Georgetown (April 8-10). A pivotal 10-day stretch int he middle of the month could define the Bluejays' 2022 season as Creighton faces Nebraska in Lincoln on April 12, heads to New York for a three-game set on April 14 and 16, then returns home for the marquee matchup of the season, two games with Arizona on April 18 & 19.
Following the two-game home series with the Wildcats, the BIG EAST schedule heats up the Bluejays host Seton Hall (April 22-24), then travel to Xavier (April 29 - May 1) and Connecticut (May 6-8).
The final week of the home schedule brings the Omaha Mavericks to TDAPO on May 10, then Butler for a series from May 13-15. Creighton's final regular season series takes the Bluejays to Pennsylvania for three games at Villanova, before traveling to Mason, Ohio for the BIG EAST Championships on May 26-29.
