Volleyball Ranked 19th in AVCA Poll

Creighton is 3-1 after splitting a pair of five-set matches last weekend
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team is ranked 19th in this week's AVCA Top 25 poll, moving down five spots from last week's poll after after splitting a pair of five-set matches with South Dakota last weekend.
The weekend split pushed Creighton's record to 3-1 this season.
This week marks the 57th consecutive week the Bluejays have been ranked when eligible, the nation's 10th-longest active streak. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 71 all-time polls, and every poll since Oct. 31, 2016. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.
Creighton (3-1) is one of two BIG EAST teams that are ranked this week, as Marquette (3-1) remained No. 25 in the rankings.
Creighton returns to action this weekend with home matches at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday against No. 25 Marquette, though the matches are considered non-conference tilts and will not count towards the BIG EAST standings.
