The Omaha native has opened the season with six combined wins
OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton sophomore Kate Krueger earned the first BIG EAST Female Tennis Athlete of the Honor of the season, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Omaha native has helped the Bluejays start the 2021 season with a 3-1 record. Krueger holds a 3-1 singles record and a 3-1 mark at No. 1 doubles while pairing with Sarah Wilcox.
Krueger's doubles victories against Missouri State (Feb. 7) and Wyoming (Feb. 20) each clinched the doubles point for Creighton.
