Wildcats Begin Pause, Impacting BIG EAST Play
New York, N.Y. – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the postponement of four women's basketball games: Villanova at Creighton (Feb. 6), Providence at Georgetown (Feb. 6), Villanova at Providence (Feb. 8) and DePaul at Villanova (Feb. 12).
Villanova announced a pause in team activities due to a COVID-19 issue within its program. Providence played at Villanova yesterday, causing the postponement of its Georgetown game on Saturday due to contact tracing.
