OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team is ranked 21st in this week's AVCA Top 25 poll, moving down two spots from last week's poll after splitting a pair of matches with No. 25, Marquette.

Creighton's second consecutive weekend split pushed the Bluejay record to 4-2 this season.

This week marks the 58th consecutive week the Bluejays have been ranked when eligible, the nation's 10th-longest active streak. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 72 all-time polls, and every poll since Oct. 31, 2016. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.

Creighton (4-2) is one of two BIG EAST teams that are ranked this week, as Marquette (4-2) remained No. 25 in the rankings after splitting with the Bluejays last week in Omaha.

Creighton is also one of five schools to be ranked in the top-21 in both the Associated Press men's basketball poll and the AVCA women's volleyball poll this week, joining Baylor, Missouri, Texas and Wisconsin.

Creighton is scheduled to be idle this weekend before returning to action when BIG EAST Conference play opens on Feb. 19 when it travels to Milwaukee to take on Marquette for a pair of matches.
