OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team dropped a spot to 24th in this week's AVCA Top 25 poll despite posting a pair of 3-0 wins at Butler over the weekend.

The Bluejays are 8-2 this season and 5-1 in BIG EAST action heading into Saturday's 6 p.m. non-conference match at Kansas State (11-7, 10-6 BIG EAST).

This week marks the 63rd consecutive week the Bluejays have been ranked when eligible, the nation's ninth-longest active streak. The Bluejays have now been ranked in 77 all-time polls, and every poll since Oct. 31, 2016. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017.

Creighton is the only BIG EAST teams that are ranked this week, but Marquette is among those receiving votes.

Creighton is also one of seven schools to be ranked in the top-25 in both the Associated Press men's basketball poll and the AVCA women's volleyball poll this week, joining Baylor, Texas, Ohio State, Purdue, Florida State and BYU.
