Scouting Marquette (18-5)
Marquette is a talented team that battles for every rebound and defends each position. The Golden Eagles share the ball incredibly well on offense,
averaging better than 20 assists per game.
The leader on both sides of the court is senior Selena Lott. The BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Lott has been a specific thorn for the Bluejays this season.
Scouting Creighton (9-10)
Temi Carda, that is the scout.
Carda has been on a mission over her last three games, scoring 24 against #1 Connecticut, 26 in the opening round win over Georgetown, then a career-high 29 in Creighton's 83-76 win over Seton Hall.
Helping lift the senior at the BIG EAST Tournament has been a cast of characters. In the win over Georgetown sophomore Carly Bachelor delivered her first double-digit performance of the season with 13 points, while freshman Emma Ronsiek grabbed 12 rebounds.
Against Seton Hall a trio of younger players stepped to the forefront. Ronsiek and fellow freshman Morgan Maly each posted a double-double as Ronsiek finished with 20 points and 10 rebouns, while Maly had 18 points and 11 boards. A spark in the fourth quarter was sophomore DeArica Pryor, with eight of the career-high 10 points in the final frame.

Creighton's Keys To the Game
- Ball Security: Marquette scored 23 points off turnovers in the last meeting in Milwaukee. With the limited guard availability for the Bluejays, Creighton cannot allow Marquette to easy offense from turnovers.
- Fatigue: Playing their third game in as many days, the Bluejays will have to offset fatigue with adrenaline and heart.
- Three-point Shooting: Creighton hit 12-of-24 from long range against Seton Hall. This comes from creating good looks with tough screens.
