The Omaha native combined for 15 wins -- eight in doubles and seven in singles -- and helped the Bluejays finish the season with a 10-6 record, including two wins against BIG EAST opponents. Krueger finished the 2021 season with six wins at the top singles position, including a victory against BIG EAST foe Marquette. She also posted a 5-1 record at home. Additionally, the sophomore paired with Sarah Wilcox at No. 1 doubles and recorded a team-best eight doubles wins, including a 5-1 mark during home matches.
Krueger claimed BIG EAST Female Tennis Player of the Week honors on Feb. 24 after starting the season with 3-1 records in both singles and doubles action.
"Kate has proven to be one our top singles players in our conference and has played No. 1 singles and doubles for us both of her first two years," head coach Tom Lilly said. "She will be looked on to help our team reach the next level in conference next season. I'm excited for her to receive this honor. Every player on the All-Conference teams is very good."
Creighton ended the season during the quarterfinals of the 2021 BIG EAST Championship Presented by JEEP in Cayce, South Carolina, as the Bluejays fell to Villanova, 4-0.
