Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Baseball will be in action twice this fall as the Bluejays prepare for the 2022 season. Creighton will travel to Haymarket Park (Lincoln, Neb.) to face Nebraska on Friday, September 17th at 5:00 pm, then face UNO at Tal Anderson Field on Saturday, September 25th.
The game with the Huskers will begin at 5:00 pm and is free to the public. Gates are expected to open at 4:00 pm, with the game planned to be 14-innings, although the exact length will depend upon available pitchers for both teams.
A game time for Creighton's contest with the Mavericks on September 25th has yet to be determined.
"We did not get a chance to play outside competition last fall so this is a great opportunity to go that," said Creighton head coach Ed Servais. "We have a lot of questions that we hope to get answered and playing Nebraska should help."
