Morgan Maly Earns Academic All-District VII First Team Honors

Omaha, Neb. -- Sophomore Morgan Maly earned a spot on the CoSida Academic All-District VII First team as the All-District squads were announced on Thursday, February 17.

The 2021-22 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes
for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced in mid-March.

Maly is third for the Bluejays this season, averaging 11.8 points per game (295 total points). She is second for the Bluejays with 65 treys this season and is averaging 3.6 rebounds per game (91). Majoring in kinesiology, Maly has excelled with a 3.96 cumulative GPA.
