Rowing Opens Spring Season with Win Over Central Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, Okla. -- The Creighton Rowing Team opened the 2022 spring season with a victory over two-time NCAA Division II National Champion Central Oklahoma on Saturday, March 13, besting the Broncos in two of three races.
Creighton claimed victories in the Varsity 8 by just under eight seconds, closing the race with a time of 7:16.67. The Bluejays also posted a victory in the Novice 8 race, closing with a time of 7:50.88.
The Bluejays return to the water in competition on Saturday, April 2 as the Bluejays face WCC foes Santa Clara, Saint Mary's and Drake in a series of regattas on their home of Carter Lake.
