Rowing Competes in Head of the Mississippi

Minneapolis, Minn. -- The Creighton Rowing team competed in the Head of the Mississippi on Saturday, October 7, highlighted by a third and fifth place finish in the Women's Collegiate 8+ race.

In the Women's Collegiate 4+ race the Bluejays claimed fourth, fifth and seventh place finishes.

"I'm really proud of how far we have come in the first half of the semester, today was an example of great team racing," said Creighton head coach Dan Chipps.

The Bluejays return to the water on Sunday, October 22 in the Iowa Chase, set to begin at 10:00 a.m. in Iowa City, Iowa.
