Volleyball Stays 15th in AVCA Poll; 11th in RPI

Creighton (23-4, 14-2 BIG EAST) has lost just one set in its last 11 matches and hit .358 in that span while outscoring foes 852-570. Just three of CU's last 11 opponents have scored more than 21 points in any set.
The Bluejays are one of 15 schools (along with Baylor, BYU, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 43 polls. Creighton has been ranked in all but six of the past 112 weeks the AVCA has put out a Top 25 poll and 120 times in program history, which is 38th-most among all programs all-time. Creighton is 195-44 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll.
CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017, and its best ranking this fall has been No. 11 on Sept. 18th. This is the 12th straight season that Creighton has spent at least one week in the top-25, extending another program record.
 Unbeaten Nebraska remained in the top spot and is followed in the top-five by Stanford, Wisconsin, Louisville and Texas.
Creighton closes the regular-season this weekend with a pair of home matches. The Bluejays host Xavier on Friday at 6 p.m. before welcoming Butler to D.J. Sokol Arena on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match. CU can clinch a 10th straight BIG EAST regular-season title with a pair of victories.
