Sis Earns BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Juniro outside hitter helped Creighton to a pair of 3-0 wins and a share of the BIG EAST title
OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton Volleyball junior Norah Sis has been named the final BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week of the 2023 season. It's her second honor of the fall and the fifth time in her career that she's been recognized.
Sis led the BIG EAST with 5.25 points and 4.83 kills per set in a pair of 3-0 victories as Creighton clinched a share of its 10th straight BIG EAST regular-season title. She also contributed 3.00 digs and 0.33 aces per set and hit .318.

The Papillion, Neb., product led all players in kills in each match, starting on Friday when she had 13 kills on .281 hitting with nine digs and a pair of aces as Creighton avenged a loss to Xavier from earlier this season.

On Sunday Sis hit .353 and had 16 kills and nine digs as the Bluejays outscored Butler, 75-45 to secure the regular-season title and the top seed at next week's BIG EAST Championship, Presented by JEEP.

Creighton has won 36-of-37 sets since the Most Outstanding Player of the 2021 and 2022 BIG EAST Championships has returned from a midseason injury that caused her to miss 11 matches.
