Bluejay WBB Climbs to #20 In Latest AP Poll

Omaha, Neb. -- After a 73-61 road win over Wyoming on Sunday, the Bluejay Women's Basketball team climbed two spots in the AP Poll on Monday, December 11 to No. 20, the highest ranking of the season for Creighton (7-1). In addition, Creighton was slotted at No. 15 in the NET rankings, released by the NCAA on Monday, the Bluejays remain the highest rated BIG EAST squad.

Three BIG EAST teams are bundled within four spots in the AP Poll as Connecticut (6-3) leads the conference at No. 17, Marquette (9-0) sits at No. 19 and the Bluejays sit at No. 20.

The Bluejays hit the road once more for arguably its toughest game of the season on Wednesday, March 13 as Creighton faces No. 19 Marquette in the BIG EAST opening game at 7:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Al McGuire Center.
