Men's Basketball To Play in 2023 Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The men's basketball teams from Creighton, Boston College, Loyola Chicago and Colorado State will compete in the 2023 Hall of Fame Classic, set to take place November 22-23 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. A special ticket flash sale begins today and runs through May 1. Tickets can be purchased at www.t-mobilecenter.com/events.
The 2023 Hall of Fame Classic will feature new event dates, with semifinals on Nov. 22 – the day before Thanksgiving – followed by the championship and consolation games on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23. Games will tip at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. CT each day and will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. Specific matchups will be announced at a later date.
Creighton will enter 2023-24 coming off a 24-win season and an Elite Eight appearance. The Bluejays have reached the NCAA Tournament in five of the past six full seasons.
Loyola has made three March Madness appearances since 2018, headlined by the Ramblers' memorable run to the 2018 Final Four. The program has won 20-plus games six times over the last nine years.
Boston College has engineered a 14-win improvement in the last two seasons, and is coming off its best record since the 2017-18 campaign.
Colorado State has notched four 20-win seasons since 2016-17, including a NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022.

This is Creighton's fourth appearance in the Hall of Fame Classic (2002, 2004, 2017), with the first two showings taking place when the event was known as the Guardians Classic. The Bluejays are 11-1 in the event all-time, and were the first team to win the event twice. Other teams to win the event twice include Missouri (2001, 2011), Texas (2005, 2009) and Kansas (2012, 2016).
