
Creighton Athletics Announces Four New Hires

All four will start within the next month
OMAHA, Neb. – McCormick Endowed Athletic Director Marcus Blossom announced the hiring of four new employees to the Creighton Athletic Department. Joining the Bluejay staff in the next month will be Sean Bourke, George Crook, Christie Buyer and Sebastian Aguilar Mora.
Sean Bourke will start as Assistant AD for Athletic Development on July 17th. He is currently the Assistant Director of Development with the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department, and has also served as a Development Assistant at the University of Nebraska. Bourke earned a Master's of Arts in Business, specialization in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration (MAIAA) from the University of Nebraska and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Sport Management from Loras College. While at Loras, he was a 4-year letterwinner and captain of the men's basketball team. He will be relocating to Omaha with wife, Sarah.
George Crook has been named Sr. Director, Marketing and Fan Engagement and will start on July 24th. He is currently the Director, Marketing and Licensing at the University of Delaware. Prior to Delaware, Crook was graduate assistant for marketing and fan engagement at Wichita State University. Crook has a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University and a M.E. in Sport Management from Wichita State. He will be moving to Omaha with his fiancé, Abbi.
Christie Buyer has been named Internal Operations Manager and has a start date of July 31st. Christie most recently served as an Administrative Services Postgraduate Intern at the NCAA. Prior to the NCAA she was an intern at Lafayette College. Before arriving at Lafayette, she was a field hockey graduate assistant coach at East Stroudsburg University. She is a former field hockey student-athlete at Mansfield University. She has a B.S. in Business Management and Computer Science from Mansfield and a MS. In Sports Management from East Stroudsburg.
Sebastian Aguilar Mora will be Assistant Director of Broadcast Services and Engineering for Athletics beginning August 4th. He currently resides in Katy, Texas and is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where he majored in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration. He brings undergraduate experience on both linear and digital productions as a member of A&M's award-winning 12th Man Productions.
