Women's Basketball Checks in at #22 in AP Poll

Omaha, Neb. -- After splitting a pair of games last week Creighton Women's Basketball fell one spot to No. 22 in the updated AP Top 25 on Monday, January 8. The Bluejays dropped a midweek home battle with #13 Connecticut and defeated DePaul in a road contest on Saturday. In the weekly NET rankings released by the NCAA, Creighton closed the week at No. 26. The USA Today/Coaches poll will be released on Tuesday, January 9.
Three BIG EAST teams remain in the AP Poll as Connecticut (12-3) leads the conference at No. 13, the Bluejays are at No. 22 (11-3) and Marquette (13-2) sits at No. 23.
Creighton returns to action on Wednesday, January 10 as the Bluejays host Butler in a game scheduled to tip off at 6:00 pm.
