Creighton Chosen to Host NCAA 2027 Men's Basketball Tournament

CHI Health Center Omaha selected to host for seventh time.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament will once again return to the city of Omaha in March of 2027. The NCAA announced on Wednesday that CHI Health Center Omaha has been selected to host the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in 2027, with Creighton University chosen as the host institution for the event.
Bidding for NCAA championships began in October of 2023. Creighton will host games on Thursday & Saturday, March 18 & 20, 2027.
The First and Second Round opening weekend games mark the seventh time CHI Health Center Omaha has been selected to host NCAA tournament play. The facility has previously held First and Second Round events in 2008, 2012, 2015 and 2024 and was slated to host opening weekend rounds of the 2020 NCAA Tournament prior to the tournament being canceled. CHI Health Center Omaha also hosted the NCAA Midwest Regional in 2018.
Information regarding tickets for the event will be released at a much later date.
