BIG EAST Announces Tip Times, TV Coverage For Most Women’s Basketball Games
10/3/2024 1:30:00 PM | Women's Basketball
Season starts on Oct. 30 with an exhibition versus SW Minnesota State
Omaha, Neb. -- The BIG EAST Conference announced tip times and television coverage for nearly every Creighton women's basketball game on Thursday, October 3.
Seven of the Bluejays' 29 regular-season games will be televised nationally on FOX, FS1 or CBSSN. Creighton will appear twice on FOX, battling St. John's in New York on Dec. 28 and Connecticut at home on Jan. 25. The Bluejays will be on FS1 against UCLA in a neutral site contest on Dec. 20 at the Chase Center (home of the Golden State Warriors), at home on Feb. 2 versus Providence, Feb. 15 vs. Georgetown and March 2 against Villanoxa. The final nationally televised game will be carried on CBSSN as the Bluejays battle Connecticut in Hartford on Feb. 27.
For the 10th straight year, the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by Invesco QQQ will stream every conference game not designated for television. FloSports, the home of BEDN, will also house all school-produced games as more than 120 total women's basketball contests will stream on the platform. FloSports offers both monthly and annual subscriptions, and as part of the expanded agreement, BIG EAST member institution student and faculty discounts will be made available. Additional content on BEDN on YouTube includes "In The Bonus," the Conference's weekly women's basketball feature series
The BIG EAST will play an 18-game conference schedule for the second consecutive season. Schools will play eight opponents twice and two opponents once. The adjustment to an unbalanced schedule provides greater flexibility in scheduling non-conference opponents.
The 2025 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament Presented by JEEP returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for a fifth straight year. FS1 and FS2 will air the tournament's quarterfinal, semifinal and championship games. Quarterfinal coverage on March 8 begins on FS1 at noon ET, before FS2 takes over for the 2:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. games. FS1 picks up the remainder of the tournament, with the semifinals on March 9 slated for 2:30 and 5 p.m. The championship game is set to tip off at 7 p.m. on March 10. FloSports will televise the trio of first-round games on March 7.
