Women’s Soccer Inks Eight for 2025

OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton women's soccer head coach Jimmy Walker announced the addition of eight new players to the Bluejay program on Wednesday, November 13.
Stepping onto the pitch next season for Creighton will be Addison Dea (Morton, Ill.), Josie Holt (Nashville, Tenn.), Sarah Hyde (Plymouth, Minn.), Madison London (Limehouse, Ontario, Canada), Kennedy Moore (Omaha, Neb.), Whitney Scott (Dublin, Ohio), Olivia Sides (Maple Valley, Wash.) and Addie Wilkie (Overland Park, Kan.).
"We are really excited about this group of eight women joining our Bluejay family," said Walker. "It is full of really good quality players, human beings, and high character players that are all good for team culture. On top of that, we got some very talented, athletic soccer players that are going to help add a lot of quality and athleticism to our current squad. We are really excited about this group coming in and it is going to be an exciting few years with this group."

In Walker's first season with the Bluejays, Creighton ended the 2024 season with an 8-7-2 overall record and finished fourth in the BIG EAST with 16 points (5-4-1), while hosting the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament for the first time in program history.

Addison Dea, Midfielder, Morton, Ill., Morton High School, Rockford Raptors FC
- Earned Peoria Journal Star All-Area First Team and Chicagoland All-Area Team as a junior, while steering the team to a 16-3-1 record.
- Captured IHSSCA All-State and All-Sectional honors in her junior season, recording 13 goals and dishing out seven assists en route to a Mid-Illini Conference championship and IHSSCA Regional championship.
- Claimed Mid-Illini First Team All-Conference honors in each of her first three years of high school competition at Morton HS.
- Scored 16 goals and added seven helpers in her sophomore campaign to snag the Top Offensive Player of the Team award, while also collecting Peoria Journal Star All-Area First Team and IHSSCA All-Sectional accolades.
- Directed Morton High School to a 13-4-2 record her sophomore season, claiming the IHSSCA Regional and Mid-Illini Conference championships.
- Posted 13 goals and dished out five assists to collect Peoria Journal Star All-Area Second Team honors, while leading her team to a Regional Championship as a freshman.
- She also played club soccer for Rockford Raptors FC.
- Led her team to a Girls Academy Finals seventh place finish, also finishing as a Girls Academy Mid-America Conference finalist in the 2023 season.
- Guided her team to finish as a USYS National finalist in 2022, while claiming the IYSA State Cup championship in 2021.
Josie Holt, Defender, Nashville, Tenn., Ravenwood High School, Tennessee Soccer Club
- A four-year starter and letter winner for Ravenwood High School in Nashville, Tenn.
- Collected All-District honors and the best midfielder award in her district during her senior campaign, while also earning MVP honors within the Ravenwood team.
- Led the Raptors to an 11-6 record with a state finals appearance and district championship as a junior, individually claiming All-District and THSSCA All-State honors.
- Crowned best defensive player within the team in her sophomore and junior year.
- Directed Ravenwood to a 14-3-2 record her freshman season, seizing a district championship, while also receiving the rising star award within the team.
- Played club soccer for the Tennessee Soccer Club.
- Excelled not only on the field, but also the classroom as Holt was named to the principle's list all four years of high school.
- Her mother, Jenn, played collegiate soccer at Auburn.
Sarah Hyde, Forward, Plymouth, Minn., Wayzata High School, Tonka Fusion Elite GA
- A striker and four-year varsity letterwinner from Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota.
- Led the Trojans to a Minnesota Class 3A State Championship with a 19-1-1 record as a senior.
- Scored a team-high 18 goals and dished out six assists on the way to earning First Team All-Lake Conference and First Team All-State honors as a senior.
- Serving as the team captain, Hyde was also named to the Minnesota Star Tribune All-Minnesota Team following her senior season.
- Sarah was also named to the High School Soccer All-American Game watch list prior to the 2024 season.
- As a junior, Hyde guided Wayzata to a MSHSL Class 3A State Title match and finished the season with a 20-2-0 overall record.
- Sarah handed out a team-high 10 assists and netted four goals, earning All-Lake Conference Honorable Mention accolades as a junior.
- She also dished out seven assists and scored a goal while guiding the Trojans to a MSHSL Class 3A State Quarterfinals appearance.
- Sarah also played club soccer for Tonka Fusion Elite GA 2006/07.
- Off the pitch, Sarah excelled in the classroom, earning Minnesota State High School League Academic Gold Team honors in each of her final three seasons.
Madison London, Goalkeeper, Limehouse, Ontario, Canada, Bill Crothers Secondary School
- Currently serves as the goalkeeper for the Canadian National Development Centre in Ontario.
- Capped off the 2024 fall season by leading her team to a League One Premier Division championship and a championship in the Woodbridge Champions League Showcase.
- Earned a spot on the Canadian Youth National Team Long/Standby list in 2023 and 2024.
- Collected a championship at the Woodbridge U19 Girls Division Tournament in 2023, while also helping the team finish runners-up in the League One Premier Division that same season.
- Continued her stellar play in 2023, helping guide her team to the FTF X Vaughan Soccer Club Spring Showcase championship.
- Earned a spot on the Canadian Youth National Team Standby list U15 CONCACAF in 2022.
Kennedy Moore, Defender, Omaha, Neb., Millard West HS, Gretna Elite Academy ENCL
- Earned Omaha World-Herald First Team All-Metro and First Team All-State honors as a junior while guiding the Wildcats to a second straight Nebraska District-5A Championship and State Tournament Appearance.
- Led Millard West to a 11-6 overall record, helping post nine shutouts along the back line while netting a pair of goals, including one game-winner, to earn Lincoln Journal Star First Team Class A All-State and All-Super State recognition as a junior.
- Was named to the Omaha World-Herald Class A All-State and All-Metro Second Team after leading the Wildcats to the Nebraska District-5A Title and an 11-4 overall record.
- In addition, Moore also earned Lincoln Journal Star All-State Honorable Mention honors after guiding Millard West to nine shutouts as a sophomore.
- She played club soccer for the Gretna Elite Academy ENCL, where she earned ECNL Midwest Conference First Team honors after steering her squad to a ECNL Champions League Tournament appearance.
- Off the pitch, Kenney serves in the Athletic Leadership Academy and volunteers within the Play It Forward organization.
- Coming from a long line of athletes, Kennedy's parents each played collegiate athletics at Hastings College, while her brother, Avery, currently plays baseball at Purdue University.
Whitney Scott, Midfielder, Dublin, Ohio, Dublin Coffman High School, Ohio Premier Soccer Club
- A three-time First Team Ohio Capital Conference (OCC) All-Conference performer, Scott finished her career as one of the most decorated athletes in Dublin Coffman High School history.
- Scott capped off her career this fall by establishing a new school record for goals in a career with 71.
- Her Dublin Coffman High School team was ranked as high as No. 17 in the state of Ohio and as high as No. 109 nationally as a senior.
- As a senior, Scott guided the Shamrocks to a 13-3-3 record and a OHSAA Division I District championship, as well as a regional final appearance.
- In addition, she earned First Team All-District and All-State honors following her senior season.
- In 2023, Whitney scored a school record 28 goals and dished out seven assists on the way to earning OHSAA Second Team All-State and First Team All-District honors as a junior.
- Scott also earned First Team All-District honors as a sophomore, after guiding the Shamrocks to a 11-3-4 overall record and to an appearance in the district finals.
- Prior to her senior season, Scott was also listed on the watch list for the 2024 High School All-American Game.
- Off the pitch, Scott excelled in the classroom earning a spot on the academic honor roll all four years, while volunteering in her community with BESA, Meals on Wheels and at the Alzheimers Foundation.
Olivia Sides, Defender, Maple Valley, Wash., Tahoma High School, PAC Northwest Soccer Club
- A four-year starting defender and letter winning for Tahoma High School in Maple Valley, Washington.
- This fall, Olivia has guided the Bears to a 7-5-5 record, while scoring three goals and handing out two assists with postseason play nearing.
- Led Tahoma to a Washington Class 4A District-3 Championship and a WIAA Class 4A State Tournament appearance with an 8-2-1 record as a junior.
- Netted five goals and dished out five assists on the way to earning NPSL First Team All-Conference and NSPL Defensive Player of the Year recognition in 2023.
- Was also named to the WIAA All-State First Team and the Tahoma HS Defensive Most Valuable Player following junior season.
- Garnered NPSL First Team All-League honors as a sophomore after guiding the Bears to a 16-4-0 record and a WIAA District-3 title and a WIAA Class 4A State Quarterfinals Appearance.
- Also earned WIAA Second Team All-State Defenders honors, while being named the teams Most Valuable Defensive player following sophomore season in 2022.
- Olivia has also played club soccer for the PAC Northwest Soccer Club since 2021.
- Playing for PAC Northwest, Sides was named to the ECNL Northwest All-Conference First Team as a junior and to the Second Team as a sophomore.
- Off the pitch, Olivia has excelled in the classroom, serving the past two years on the National Honor Society.
Addie Wilkie, Forward, Overland Park, Kan., Blue Valley North High School, Sporting Blue Valley SC
- A four-year varsity starter and letterwinner for Blue Valley North High School in Kansas.
- Ranked as the No. 14 recruit in the class of 2025 in the state of Kansas by Prep Soccer and was listed as one of the Top 25 Players in the Heartland by Top Drawer Soccer in April of 2023.
- Earned KSHSAA Class 6A All-State Honorable Mention and Second Team Eastern Kansas All-Conference honors after guiding the Mustangs to a 11-6-1 overall record and an appearance in the Class 6A State Tournament as a sophomore.
- Played club soccer for Sporting Blue Valley 07 ECNL under the direction of Colin Bulwich.
- Guided her club to the U17 North American Cup Championships this past summer.
- Was named to First Team All-Midwest Conference in 2022 after leading her club team to a ECNL Top 16 finish at the 2022 ECNL Playoffs.
